Ramadan in Egypt is very special and the fanous (lantern) has many memories in my childhood. May this Ramadan be spiritual, peaceful, and joyful to all my Muslim readers and friends. Let us hope that during the fasting month people will remember the poor around the world.
Hopefully during the month of Ramadan I will have the chance to reminisce and post about my experience as a Christian in Egypt in the month of Ramadan.

Nomad, although Ramadan is un careme ( sorry no punctuation on this keyboard), Muslim love it as it is a joyful month regardless of the fasting. The evenings are beautiful , the people are nicer, the mosques are filled with the good spirit everynight and for one month the 'devil' and the 'jinns' are held in captivity if our souls are truely cleann. It is basically a spiritual rejuvenation, just like when you are using anti-oxidant cream :), or going through a detox diet :) .
Is it just me, or should Tworset get the award of best photographs on a blog? Where do you find such stunning photos!
