You must be related to Mother Theresa
Yes we used to east sashimi and drink Sake together :)
I'm surprised you managed to find a picture of Khan El Khalili, where it looks CLEAN and not unhumanly crowded!
(great post& great pics as usual)-
Your blog is a gem. Always refreshing to see your views and pictures. The quality of your posts and the effort you put in them is very much worth it. Keep up the good work, you must be a very refined lady.
Twosret, what a lovely post! Entirely agree with Steve, a precious gem it is :)
I can't tell you how much that single photo of Khan AlKhalili brought back memories. It's been entirely too long...so thank you for the reminder.
Thanks Twosret I'm working on it as soon as I get my internet connection back :)
Thanks for taking part Twosret! I love your approach to it: adding pictures. Really beautiful and much more evocative!
Oh Khan El-Khalili :) I love that place. I will never forget my first visit there. I was stopped by a store owner who asked me where I was from. He got really excited when I told him I was from Tunisia. He then told me that Latif El Arfaoui visited his store and took pictures with him and that she was really nice. I had a nice time talking to him.
Thanks for tagging me. My first thoughts were 15 foods, is that bad?
One of them was Kushari btw :P
Felfela,
I had to search very hard for pictures on this entry. It saddens me that there aren't many good pictures for Egypt.

Leilouta,
You are welcome and yes food came to mind too but once I was thinking places it took over the craving. I'm sure I will laugh looking at your list.
